EARS OVER SHOUOLDER – EOS
&
90 Second Posture App

How many people do you know would like to IMPROVE their bad posture or MAINTAIN their good posture? I would venture to say, almost everyone.

That is the foundation of my idea for an app called 90 Second Posture App.

You should understand that this idea was not an overnight notion. In fact, it has been the keystone of my professional career.

My name is Mike Zamora and I have been a Strength Coach and Personal Trainer since the early 80’s. During this time I have worked with professional and amateur athletes, designed corporate wellness programs and trained hundreds of people with the goal to improve their health and fitness level.

Throughout my career I have designed thousands of workouts and the underlining theme is always to have good posture while executing exercises. Without good posture, I can guarantee that the person exercising will almost always incur an injury. And that person will always place the cause of his or hers injury on everything but posture. But in reality, it is ALWAYS a posture issue.

During these 42+ years I have developed many coaching cues and prompts that I use to remind a client to focus on the execution of a movement or exercise. One of my favorite cues is called EOS. EOS is an acronym for Ears Over Shoulders. This coaching cue has become especially pertinent and effective in the last couple of years with the proliferation of texting. Heck, did you know that texting causes 11,000 injuries a year from distracted walking. Texting and working at the computer has created a health care crisis called TEXT NECK. Text neck is a very serious condition that leads to painful shoulders, low back pain and TERRIBLE POSTURE!

Now that you understand a little about my motivation to develop EOS Posture Alert, I would like to explain the attractiveness and marketability of it.

Unlike the evasive and confrontational proposition of starting the dreaded exercise program to reach a specific goal or goals, the tools necessary to have good posture are non-evasive and non-challenging. In fact, when a person thinks of posture, they almost immediately start sitting up straight. In other words, Posture is viewed as a very attainable goal by everyone! That is why I believe EOS Posture would be a success. Even the person who doesn’t want to join a health club and/or start an exercise program at home, will be able to attain and maintain good posture by using the EOS Posture Alert app.

Here is how it works:

  1. Sign up for the 7 Day Free Trial. When you sign up, you will have access to 7 different Posture routines on your mobile app. Each of the routines takes approximately 90 seconds to execute. With 7 different routines, you will not get bored.
  2. From your cell phone or tablet, you will see a fitness model execute the exercise, so that you know how to execute it.
  3. You will also receive an easy to follow Low Back Routine and articles about Strong Posture and Healthy Low Back.
